THE TOOL FOR WORSHIP

THE TOOLS FOR WORSHIP

".....Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."
Psalm 35:27.

There are two levels of pleasure God derives from our prosperity. In fact, it is God's utmost desire that we prosper see 3John2. God delights so much in making sure we have and enjoy prosperity.
Below are the two levels of pleasure God derives from our prosperity.

1. God derives pleasure in MAKING US PROSPEROUS.
2. God derives pleasure from how we USE OUR PROSPERITY.

Many believers today only approach God base on the first level where God is delightful in making us prosperous ignoring the part that include how this prosperity is deployed.
I know it is the Lord that gives us the ability to make wealth - but this ability is given because of the pleasurable covenant HE had with our father, His friend.

I know also the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he willingly and ungrudgingly became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. Rich unto good works, rich into the ministry of reconciliation, reconciling men back to receive the same access you have.

I also know that God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, this is so that you may abound to every good work.

We have many believers who are living below God's best for them not because they don't have the commensurate faith to receive from God but because their heart when scanned by God shows a negation, a departure from God's desires.

In as much as God eagerly wants to release prosperity your way, He would not want to because your prosperity would bring reproach to the kingdom.

"look how prosperous Job is..... No wonder he worships you" - Job 1:9.
Change your approach to wealth and prosperity. Change it to wealth - a tool for worshipping and bringing pleasure to God and you'd see more in your life.

Make you demands for prosperity base on your desire to advance God's government on earth. These are the types of request God is swift to answer.

NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION

You are necessary, that’s why you were created. It is your ability or inability to discover the need behind your creation that would determine the quality of life you live. Conversely, the quality of life you lead is directly proportional to your ability to discover the need that necessitated your creation. – PURPOSE.

“Isaac Newton’s third law of motion states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

You were not just created, you just did not happen without a CAUSE or REASON. Your life would be impactful if and only if you pinpoint this CAUSE. Your life would be gratifying when you live daily dishing out your God’s inherent reserves to your world. People of influence are not just influential by accident, they SAW something, they HEARD something – they got a hold of the NECESSITY behind their INVENTION. – VISION.

“A wise man ones said: when you pursue a VISION, you certainly get an INVENTION”.

“…. before I formed you… I knew you”

Before I [God] formed you, I knew you – I knew you because I have seen you, I knew you because you were a picture in my heart. I only formed you because I have seen you, I formed you because I have seen your form – I formed you according to the form I saw.

Your INVENTOR [GOD] was pursuing a vision when He invented and placed you on earth. Your life would make huge sense if you can see what God saw that gave birth to your invention [creator].

“Vision is in reality self-discovery…….”  This is further verified by my Pastor, Father and mentor who said “Vision is locating what God created you to do”.  The best way to live is to live a self-discovered life – to live with vision. You would never attain God’s portion for you if you have not seen it. What you do not see you cannot seize.

God’s supreme word said:
“if people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves”- Prov. 29:18 MSG

Living without VISION is as good as dead, living without VISION is a wasted existence. When you know and can see what God brought you to do would help make your life’s journey smooth. You don’t need to run after to accumulate all the wealth in the world, what you need is VISION.

Do you desire to live for a reason? Do you desire to take your place on earth? Do you desire to end in glory?
You must begin with VISION.

You must understand that all your VISIONS and PURPOSE is to advance the KINGDOM OF GOD. EVERYTHING CHRIST has done form a basis for growing and forming a vision. Every Vision is centred on all Christ has done on the Cross.

I pray for you:
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.”

THE CONDUITS OF GOD'S WORK

"I don't know whether it is just me oh"

Today, I see in my interactions with people a STRONG DESIRE to be used mightily by God like scriptural King Darius.

Today, I see a number of people asking God to work through them like the prophet Elias.

I watch today and I see other individuals desiring to operate in the apostolic just as Bro. Paul did.
And yet many others wants to lead and influences just as Governor Nehemiah, Prime Minister Joseph and Daniel, King David and President Moses led.

Many believers today are just 'wishing' and 'desiring'.  Wishing and desiring to be used of God alone would leave u unused. Before God would ever work through you.... HE would first work in you. God would never work through you if you are not yielded to HIS workings in you. God is not a gambler, hence, HE would never gamble with HIS glory and honour.
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Phil 2:13

In God's quest to make you (work in you), I had discovered that the higher the making demands, the bigger your assignment. The heights of your glory is directly proportional to the level of agony you are willing to endure in the refining furnace of the Lord. God would pass you through furnace, beat you with both heavy and light blows, take you through water and pass you through the furnace repeating this process until you become a sword in HIS hand. Like vessels of gold you would be purified.

Having God work through you would demand that prices be paid, sacrifices be made, opportunities and privileges foregone and a lot of 'alone time' would be involved.

Be broken, be yielded.
Don't interrupt the making/working process. God is more than ready to commence the work in you by the Holy Spirit.

TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS EXPECTED

To whom much is given....
Before you judge God unfair for your present situation, race, family background, social status and perhaps spiritual attainments, I want you to recall that "to whom much is given, much is expected ". Often it is in our mortal tendency to compare ourselves with others on whatsoever scale devised by whosoever but God term such as being unwise.  It is  a common occurrence to find people express how much they hate their skin color, their looks, their financial status, material possessions, political cum social pedestal, even spiritual dealings. Their complaints aren't in an attempt to become better of but to find a footing to blame and a cocoon for excuses and mediocrity.

God gives to everyone according to such individual's ability and according to the assignments for which one is wired to accomplish...

Lucifer was that anointed guardian cherubim for so he was ordained... Arch angel Michael wasn't created in that manner and for that purpose.

John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah to herald the coming of Christ... To prepare the way and that's why his own baptism was only of water unto repentance... His assignment cost him his head on the platter... But Jesus Christ came as the only begotten son of the Father, full of grace and truth and we all beheld his glory... His baptism is with fire and the Holy Ghost... His assignments cost him his throne and his divinity for a while, he  endured the thorny crown and the death of the cross... Because to whom much is given, much is expected... Much of sacrifice, much of obedience, much of accomplishment and much of fulfilment...

Joseph had the grandiose dream and his was the the Prime Minister's seat but through the Egyptian prison... Esther became the favourite Queen but hers was the daring tasks of the freedom and  emancipation of the Hebrew race... Before you envy the crown weigh the price tagged to it and consider it in all wisdom whether you have what it takes to pay for it and if you are ordained to do so...

Daniel had the revelational  access to understand by book the number of years before the deliverance of his brethren from Babylon so it became a compelling assignment for him to bear the burden of intercession for days...  Moses was the one who saw the beauty of the burning bush so he had to bear the irrevocable enlistment as the One to confront Pharaoh and lead the stiff necked Israel ...

Hmmmm,  Sometimes God's dealings is gains to pains then to exceeding gains...
It was Abraham who enjoyed the beautiful fellowship with God and perhaps told God that he would do anything for God and God showed him the beauty of mountain Moriah... So he had to bear the agony of sacrificing Isaac for to whom much is given,  what is expected?... Much!

The list goes endless but let me drive this home. Everyone of us has something given to us in much quantity and much of delivery, of sacrifice and paying of price is expected of us... The good news is that you are already wired, anointed and ordained for that assignment.  Do not neglect the One talent or five entrusted to you but be faithful to trade profitably with it for Godliness and contentment is great gain.

To whom much is given....
Whatsoever God gives you is how much you can carry and trade with for the now. It's progressive upon the proofs of your faithfulness.

Receive the grace to fully bring forth what is commensurate to that which is bestowed upon you in Jesus name. Amen.

6 THINGS THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM BEING TRULY HAPPY

6 THINGS THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM BEING TRULY HAPPY

Everyone wants to be happy and be in a joyous

mood but sometimes, a few things keep us from
finding this happiness. These might be things we
do consciously or unconsciously, but whatever
the case may be, they affect our overall mood
and joy. Shortly, we will take a look at some of the
culprits below.

Resentment: Sometimes, we harbour resentment

or dislike towards other people and we do not
realise that this would have a negative impact on
our moods. When you harbour negative feelings,
you end up poisoning your soul and this would
keep you from experiencing true happiness.

Holding Grudges: It takes a lot of energy to hold

a grudge as you keep focusing on your anger and
ways to make a person pay for whatever it was
they did to you. To avoid this bad habit, make
sure you let people know when they have done
something to offend you. If the person
apologises, forgive and move on; if they don’t,
still let go anyway. Holding a grudge or keeping
malice will do no one any good.[prov 4:23]

Not Living In The Moment: We are all so focused

on our dreams, or plans and our future that we
sometimes forget to enjoy the moment. The only
thing that is sure, when it comes to time, is right
now. The future is unknown, but if you find ways
to enjoy the “here and now”, then you will find
yourself less stressed and in a better mood.

Being Unappreciative: While we are enjoying the

here and now, we should also not forget to be
grateful for what we have. We all want better
cars, jobs, more money, a bigger house, better
looks, etc, but we sometimes forget to simply be
grateful for what we already have. So, take a
look around you, count your blessings and be
grateful for the things you have, no matter how
small they seem to you.[jer 29:11]

Not Being Helpful: Knowing you have held out a

helping hand for someone who really needs it is
truly a beautiful feeling. So, try to extend
whatever you can give for people that need it. It
does not have to be financially. Offering an
encouraging word to someone who feels down,
smiling at a stranger, listening to someone who
desperately needs someone to talk to or simply
being there for the people around you are ways
you can help. You will find yourself feeling lighter
than air, knowing that you gave someone a
reason to smile and believe.

No Hobbies: Having or doing something special

that is just for you is a great way to keep your
mood up. A lot of people do not realise the
importance of having a hobby and they assume it
is a waste of time, but this is a huge
misconception. Having something that makes you
feel good, regardless of the normal everyday
hectic life, is a great way to unwind and remind
yourself that life is short.
These are just a few of the things that could
leave you feeling unhappy with tips on how to
bring the required changes into your life.
Remember, you only live once and it is important
that you make the best out of whatever you have
been given.

WELCOME TO THE WILD

WELCOME TO THE WILD.

A note from those who have been there and those who are still there, to those coming in, we say WELCOME!!
Welcome to the wild, WELCOME.
Welcome to the place far away from home but close to it,
Welcome to the place where comfort is present but yet not seen.
Welcome to the place where the truth is being suppressed and people close their eyes to it.
Welcome to the place where money says everything and the truth is silenced.
Welcome to the place where foes are thought to be more trusted than friends.
Welcome to the place where when those you call friends put a knife in your back and those you call foes take out the knife, dress the wounds and tell you not to give up its going to be Ok and that you can still make it,
Welcome to the place where conflicts are meant to bring you and me together.
Welcome to the place where love is all around you and yet you do not perceive.
WELCOME!!!
We cannot leave you out here in the wild without leaving you with guides on how to survive out here in the wild.
Let God be the number one in everything you do,
Never trade the truth for anything.
We know this isn’t easy but strive to always stand out from the majority,
Be true to yourself,
Always live to please GOD.
And most importantly, be a proper ambassador of HEAVEN…
WELCOME TO THE WILD,
ONCE AGAIN WE SAY
WELCOME…

POSITIVE MISTAKES

"There are some people who live 70 years and there are some people who live one year 70 times, repeating what they’re doing over and over in the name of the Gold watch or whatever."
-Wayne Dyer
The fear of being nothing, achieve nothing and becoming nothing should be way bigger than the fear of making mistakes, life is a teacher and you must be ready to learn from it if you want to ever overcome your mistakes or even learn from it, have you ever admitted you made a mistake? Or did you ever think life is cruel to you that’s why you make mistakes. See the greatest mistake you can ever make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one, the other day I read that most of our fears can be boiled down to a fear inadequacy and consequently rejection, I think this is true for me. When I feel a sense of panic about the potential to fail, it’s really more about being seen as a failure. When I make mistakes without witnesses, assuming the mistakes don’t cause me immense discomfort, I generally rebound fairly quickly. It’s almost like a tree falling the wrong way in the wood if no one sees it, did it even happen at all? I suspect this is true for most of us a stumble that no one saw isn’t nearly as mortifying as a stumble with an audience.
When you factor in assumption about other people’s judgment suddenly a mistake seems like more than a poor decision about our character on the whole but there’s something ironic about fearing judgment for being fallible since this is something we all have in common. If we can just embrace our vulnerability and accept that our mistakes don’t define us they can lead to a greater sense of meaning and connection.
Most of the purpose driven people I’ve met feel motivated by the need to help people with struggle they’ve already faced because we err and hurt, we can feel for other people and do our part to help ease their pain and because we know we’re fallible we learn to be humble which help us appreciate and forgive. There are no denying that there are some mistakes that we wouldn’t make if we could re-live those moments. But the reality is that “never” is never an option. All we can ever make is the smartest, bravest choice based on what we know in this moment.
The bravest choice is to do what we really want to do, regardless of whom might see and form opinions. It might not always feel comfortable to risk being seen as inadequate but alternatively, is to risk feeling partially alive.
Mistake and failure isn’t holding you back fear of mistake is we are conditioned to fear mistakes or failure, as if lack of failure (mistakes) guarantee success the reality is that lack of failure equals lack of risk taking, which is required for meaningful success.
Here is a story that will perfectly give you the knowledge (view) of what am talking about or explains it, a story about a female under 14 volley ball team.
The one problem I have on my team is having the athletes get over the fear of making a mistake we do great in practice, but during a tournament the more important the game the more they regress to predictable safe playing. To overcome this, we discussed as a team a few weeks ago that the march 17 tournament  would be a throw away we didn’t  care about the outcome if players played aggressive they would never be in danger of being subbed off, no matter how many mistake they made everyone bought into the system and was willing to give it a try except for about half of my parent group, they had a hard time accepting the fact that we were going to let the girls figure it out and let them go for it on every ball regardless of the score or the stakes. As we started the day, we serves going out and wide, but the team was relaxed and having fun if they didn’t get a great spike in one rally, they tried even the next time, they saw that by making positive errors (mistakes) often the other team would still go for the ball and touch it giving us a point as the day progressed they were becoming more confident, I had athletes who had never attempted jump serving, trying it and succeeding our play was getting more aggressive as the day went on and we were constantly winning.
We made it to the semi finals and all of my doubting parents (I call them Thomas) were congratulating me on the genius of the approach to the tournament they couldn’t believe how well their daughters were playing and it was just getting better I cautioned them and reminded them that the focus has to be on the process, not the outcome, and that even if we were in last place it would have still have been a worthy strategy for all the teaching it provided we played with the most aggression and intelligence we have ever done. We hit from everywhere on the court it was beautiful to watch.
In the second game of the finals, we were behind 23-19 my athlete who was up to serve was one who had discovered her jump serve throughout the day. In the past she would have regressed and underhand served because she had no confidence in her overhand serve during a critical time in the match. However, with no fear of messing up, and having the entire bench and coaching staff cheering on to go for it, she let fly an amazing jump service ace! The score is now 23-21 for them she goes up to do it again  I look over and her mother is covering her eyes, this player has never served 2 jump serves in a row and her mother can’t watch we’re all cheering her to go for it again, Ace! Score 23-22 for them confidently she goes back to serve again she end up serving 3 more aces, all off of her newly found jump serve and we win the tournament the bench is going crazy and the parents are ecstatic I think her mother suffered a minor heart attack.
After we clear the court I gather the team around and ask her in front of all the players how it felt to go for it when we were down by 5 point and ended up winning the match  and the tournament with tears in her eyes all she could say was ‘it was awesome’
I love this story for bunch of reasons but mostly because it shows the power of redefining failure of providing a space where mistakes aren’t merely tolerated, but seen as a productive, essential part of the process another statement that stood me on my feet that was said by the coach was “The focus should be in the process not in the outcome”, Positives Errors what a wonderful term.
All coaches, parents and guardians should be a storytellers their job is to create an emotional safe zone where player, children and youths can go to the edges of their abilities and then beyond. The coach’s wisdom was to change the story “This is a throwaway tournament” and that statement nudged his players into the sweet spot. This as they discovered is pretty freaking sweet.
Many people out there have intense feat of making mistakes those people don’t just find it hard to fail or to make mistake but they also suffer from a low self esteem as a result of their way of thinking.
All humans make mistakes and thus if someone believed that making a mistakes makes him/her less worthy than others then each and every day his self confidence will go lower as the result of the mistakes he makes.
But the question is this, why do some people really find it shameful to make mistake while others consider it a part of the human nature?
Now listen and be attentive, the difference between the two groups lies in their belief system and in the way they have been treated when they were children or brought up as children, because such negative beliefs about making mistakes can lower your self confidence.
I now formulated a way of helping our selves overcome mistakes with some motivating (inspiring) steps of changing your beliefs and how to think of mistakes and what you think you are when you make one (mistake).
STEPS 1: UNDERSTANDING THE FEAR OF MAKING MISTAKES
If you want to overcome the fear of making mistake then you must first examine your belief system to find out whether you have any of the following…
i.                    I Can Learn Without Making Mistakes: Do you know how learning happens? It’s a process of continuously making mistakes and adjusting your method until you no longer make mistake, no wonder people who think that mistaking is shameful have a low self esteem for they never give themselves the chance to develop a new skill that can make them feel good about themselves.
ii.                  It Shameful To Make Mistakes: I have discovered that when people are brought up to believe that making mistakes is a shameful act they lose the self confidence, when they grow up because the human nature always forces them to make mistakes this beliefs is usually learned when the parents shout at the little kid or embarrass him/her in public when he makes a mistake, at this point the child starts to believe that it’s too shameful to make a mistake.
STEP 2: WHY IS PERFECTIONISM A BAD THING?
Perfectionism is just a defense mechanism that some people who don’t feel good about themselves use to hide their flaws.
In other to overcome the feat of making mistakes you must understand that mistaking is an essential step for learning, Michael Jordan the great basket-baller once said and I quote ‘I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career, I have lost almost 300 games, 26 times I have been trusted to take the game’s winning shot and missed, I have failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeeded’.
Understand that you will never be able to develop a new skill without passing through the learning phase; you will never be able to reach anything before you make some mistakes. The truth is that; do you know why some people want to avoid mistakes? It because they believe that they are less worthy than others and as a result they want to hide their flaws by never drawing the attention of people to them. Overcoming the fear of making mistakes you must understand that mistaking is part of the human nature.
